0000 are three generative ambient compositions generated by the audiocrack project (crack.celerolab.com). Each of the atmospheres is composed by a random combination of samples processed with random parameters.

The goal of this project is to explore the potential of code and sound to create immersive atmospheres. Randomness is used as a tool to create an auditory experience that is surprising, unpredictable and, in most cases, relaxing.

For the realization of these pieces, Marcos Martí (ekosistema) has started by selecting a series of audios from various sources, including synthesizers, music, effects or field recordings. To generate some of the sounds and to subsequently process the audios, JavaScript has been used as a programming language.

Each clip has a random duration, defined by a series of random parameters, to which effects such as reverb or echo are applied. Once processed, they are combined in a sequence that is prolonged in time.

The result is unique ambient pieces. Each time the play button is pressed, the experience is different. The listener is invited to explore the sound and discover its own layers of meaning.

The audiocrack project offers a unique and immersive sound experience, from which the three samples here have been taken at random (as it could not be otherwise).
